International Agriculture Programs, along with the Departments of Agronomy and Agricultural Education and Studies, worked with three Iowa high schools on a student exchange project with three secondary agricultural schools in Ukraine. The exchange began in Spring 1998, when 30 students and 9 teachers from Ukraine arrived in Iowa to stay with families in 3 school districts. The same number of Iowa students and teachers flew to Kiev at the end of May. The Iowa schools included Jefferson-Scranton, Northeast Hamilton and Wall Lake View Auburn.
